As a child, Janis was always considered ‘good in art’ and she always had a fascination with drawing, color and typography. This led her to obtain a degree in Visual Communications from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology. Her career has ranged from running her own award-winning design firm to spotting a trend before most and creating a company that designed and manufactured unique and patented scrapbooks and accessories for the craft market. Janis is now back to her youthful passion designing and creating illustrations for consumer goods manufacturers, publishers and corporate clients. She also loves to add a little creativity to entertaining friends and family and exploring the world.
